A picnicpicnic (; in rural Scotland
I was up in Edinburgh attending a work conference when I matched with Eddie on Hinge. As a southerner, something about a thick, Scottish accent always rubbed the right way. Two days, I was in Edinburgh. Leith.
Eddie was up in Aberdeen.
EDDIE: I know this is a little abrupt but do you fancy meeting up before you go home? I’d prefer not to be stuck in the talking stage with someone who lives a six hour train journey away.
ME: Sure
EDDIE: Perfect. If you come up to me I can take you out on a hike. Just bring yourself. I’ll make us a picnic.
Scottish and good at planning dates.
The green flags were sailing proud.
