One night inin Glasgow
Work sent me up to Glasgow to represent our company in the conferences that were taking place. I was there all day Friday interacting with clients and as a thank you for my hard work, found out that my boss had extended my hotel room another night.
I had no weekend plans so decided to stay the Friday night and explore the city on the Saturday before catching an afternoon train back home.
It was my first time visiting Scotland actually and it didn’t disappoint. It was the Glaswegian accent, so rough around the edges and unlike anything ever heard down south.
For my single ladies – you know how it is when you go to a new place: check out what the local guys are like. I opened up Tinder, not thinking much of it, but ended up using up all of my free likes swiping right. Turns out Scottish men not only have nice accents, but gorgeous faces too.
Again, I didn’t think much of it. I wasn’t looking for anything and started conversations with a few of the guys I had matched with, texting for a while until it was time for dinner.
After eating, I returned to my phone.
